Presented is a stunning English sterling silver sugar spoon from 1890. This piece displays fabulous enamel decorations along the front of the handle with wire and and a pebble texture. The enamel is in bright red, blue, white, and turquoise green. The bowl has an engraved scroll details.
The reverse is marked with English hallmarks: the lion passant for sterling silver, the anchor mark for Birmingham, and the date letter Q for 1890. The piece also has a maker's mark for John Hardman & Co.
This piece is in great overall condition. There is a small enamel loss close to the bowl, but very minor. There are no monograms, no monogram removals, no breaks, and no repairs.
