1863 Heavy English Sterling Silver Beaded Gravy Ladle

Presented is an attractive and well-made English sterling silver gravy ladle. The pattern has beading around the entire handle on both the front and the reverse. Ladle is quite heavy.
This piece is fully hallmarked on the reverse, with the lion passant for sterling silver, the leopard's head for the City of London, the duty mark of Queen Victoria's head and the date letter "h" corresponding to the year 1863. There is also the maker's mark GA for George Adams.
The condition is excellent. There are no dents, breaks, no repairs, no monograms, and no monogram removals.
The length is 7 1/4 inches.
The weight is 77.3 grams or 2.7 ounces.
