Presented is a nice sterling silver gravy ladle made by Crosby, Hunnewell & Morse of Boston. This firm was active from 1861 to 1864. The ladle is done in an elegant beaded pattern with a flourish at the top. The back of the handle bears the original presentation, ‘LHH from CES’.
The ladle is marked on the reverse with Crosby, Hunnewell & Morse for the maker and 925.
The ladle is in good condition overall. There are some dents and dings on the bowl, but there are no splits, no breaks, and no repairs.
The gravy ladle is 6 7/8 inches long.
The weight is 68 grams or 2.4 ounces.
