Presented is a great Tiffany & Co sterling silver serving spoon. This spoon is made in the Bead pattern, which began production in 1850 under John Polhemus, a renowned silversmith who designed and produced many much-loved silver patterns for Tiffany. This spoon dates to around the 1850s-1860s. As the name suggests, this is a stylish beaded pattern with a foliate design at the tip of the handle. The spoon is well made from thick, heavy gauge silver, with a nice feeling of weight and balance in the hand. The spoon has a finely engraved crest of a stag on the handle.

This spoon is in great condition. The details of the pattern are nice and crisp. The spoon is clean, polished by hand to a soft shine. There are no splits, no breaks, no dents, no cracks, no monogram removals, and no repairs.

The spoon is stamped Tiffany & Co as well as sterling.

The spoon is about 8 3/8 inches long.

The weight for the spoon is 101.6 grams or 3.6 regular ounces. -jm
