Presented is a beautiful German silver sauce or gravy ladle made in Dresden in the 19th century. The ladle has a gold washed bowl and a pouring spout. The handle is made of carved wood. The ladle is hallmarked on the back of the stem with the zigzag mark for the assayer's sample, the city mark for Dresden used in 1835-1870, and the maker's initials I.B.R.
The ladle is in excellent condition. There are no cracks, no breaks, no dents, no monograms, no monogram removals and no repairs.
