1843 Victorian English Fiddle Sterling Silver Dove Crest Platter Stuffing Spoon
Presented is a wonderful Victorian English sterling silver platter or stuffing spoon. This spoon dates to 1843 and was made by Samuel Hayne & Dudley Cate. The spoon is done in a classic Fiddle Thread pattern, with the distinctive fiddle-head handle and shoulders above the bowl. The handle is finely engraved with a crest of a dove with an olive branch in its mouth. This is a heavy, high quality piece, and would be a great addition to any silver collection.
This piece is in great condition. There are no splits, no breaks, no dents, no cracks, no monogram removals, and no repairs.
