Presented is a nice coin silver pierced serving ladle or spoon from Taylor & Lawrie, made circa 1840 to 1850s. This piece displays a pierced fluted bowl and a fiddle tipt handle. Great for berries or peas. The front of the handle is monogrammed “MCP to CCB” in a flowing script.
The server is guaranteed coin silver.
The reverse is marked with the maker's mark for Taylor & Lawrie along with the retailer mark for Bailey & Kitchen.
This piece is in great overall condition. There are no splits, no breaks, no dents, and no repairs.
