Presented is an elegant coin silver teapot from the 1840s-1850s. The piece displays a classical mid-18th century form with a ribbed foot and fancy details on the spout and handle. The lid has a pineapple shaped finial and opens on an invisible hinge.
The underside of the piece is marked pure coin and with the maker's mark for George B Foster and “Boston”.
This teapot is in excellent overall condition. The handle is securely attached. There are no monograms, no monogram removals, no breaks, and no repairs.
Measurements: 8 1/2 inches from spout to handle, 4 3/4 inches wide, and 6 1/2 inches tall
