Presented is a wonderful English Georgian sterling silver fish slice or fish server. This piece dates to 1832 and was made by William Chawner. The blade of the server is beautifully pierced. The handle is done in a classic Fiddle pattern, with shoulders above the blade and a downward turned handle. The handle is monogrammed with WSR in ornate script.

This piece is hallmarked on the back of the handle with the lion passant for sterling silver, the leopard's head for the city of London, the date letter r for 1832, King George IV's head duty mark, and the maker's mark for William Chawner.

This piece is in great condition. There are no splits, no breaks, no dents, no monogram removals, and no repairs.
