1813 English Sterling Silver 2 Handled Sugar Bowl Classical Form

Presented as a fine quality in two handled sterling silver sugar bowl. The sugar bowl is raised on four-paw feet and has a nice gilded interior. This pieces large and can be used for many things other than just sugar. There is a band of hand engraving near the top and vertical hand chased ribbing just below that.
This piece is fully hallmarked on the side with the lion passant for sterling silver, the leopards head crowned for the City of London , the duty mark of King George III's head and the date letter S corresponding to the year 1813. There is also maker's mark but it is to warn to discern.
There is a monogram on one side, I believe the letters are SS There was a small dent right on top of the monogram, but has since been removed.
The condition is excellent. There are no cracks, no dents and no monogram removals and no repairs. There is an old monogram to the underside. Please see the photographs.
This sugar bowl measures 8 inches over the handles and is 3 1/2 inches tall to the rim.
The weight is 280 grams or 9.9 ounces. -RS
