Presented is an antique, English sterling silver gravy or sauce ladle made by William Eley & William Fearn of London in 1812. The handle is done in a classic Fiddle pattern and the front has a very fine quality crest of an eagle or bird of prey with spread wings over a crown. This is a great quality piece.

The back is marked with the lion passant for sterling silver, a date letter R for the year 1812, a maker's mark for William Eley & William Fearn and a duty mark of the king's head. 

This piece is in excellent condition for its age. There is minor surface wear but no damages and no repairs.
