Regular price $316.80 $0.00 Unit price per

Presented is a fine English Georgian sterling silver fish slice or fish server. This piece dates to 1810. The blade features a finely hand engraved and detailed design of a fish in the center, surrounded by lovely pierced work. The edge of the blade has bright cut engraving all around.

This piece is in great overall condition. The material of the handle has some minor vertical splitting, as you'd expect, but it is still structurally sound and sturdy. The handle is very securely mounted to the blade. The details of the engraved designs are nice and crisp. There are no dents, no monograms, no monogram removals, and no repairs.

This piece is hallmarked on the underside of the blade with the lion passant for sterling silver, the leopard's head crowned for the city of London, the date letter Q for 1810, King George III's head duty mark, and a maker's mark which is too worn to read.

The server is about 11 1/8 inches long.

This piece weighs 126 grams or 4.4 regular ounces.
