1806 English Sterling Silver Snuff Box Monogram Engraving

Presented is an antique, English sterling silver snuff box made in England in 1806. The edges and sides of the box are crafted with rounded corners. The top of the box presents with a monogram. The inside of the box has a gold wash.
The inside bottom of the snuff box is marked with the lion passant for sterling silver, a leopard's crowned head for London, a date letter L for the year 1806, and a duty mark of King George III's head. The inside of the lid is marked with a leopard's crowned head for London and a date letter L for the year 1806. The maker's mark is only partially visible.
This piece is in excellent condition. There are four minor dings, which are almost unnoticeable. The inside presents with a strong gold wash. The hinge is in good working condition.
