Presented is a fine English Georgian sterling silver platter, serving, or stuffing spoon. This piece dates to 1801. The spoon is done in a classic design with a long handle that curves downward at the end. The front of the handle has a great crest of a rampant lion.

This piece is in great condition. There are no splits, no breaks, no dents, no cracks, no monogram removals, and no repairs.

This piece is hallmarked on the handle with the lion passant for sterling silver, the leopard's head crowned for the city of London, the date letter F for 1801, King George III's head duty mark, and the maker's mark of WS likely for William Sumner I.

This spoon is about 12 inches long.
