Presented is a wonderful set of 18 English sterling silver luncheon knives made by Terry Shaverin of Sheffield in 1989. The sterling silver handles are done in a Georgian style, beaded edge pattern and have never been monogrammed. The blades are stainless steel.
Each knife is marked with the Sheffield star city mark, the lion passant for sterling silver purity, a date letter P for the year 1989 and a maker's mark for Terry Shaverin.
This set is in fabulous overall condition and has a mirror finish. There are some slight scuffs to some of the handles, but they are slight and can be buffed out.
Length: 8 5/8 inches.
Total weight: 1,292 grams or 2.8 pounds. Please note that this is not all silver weight. as the knives have stainless steel blades.
