Presented is a nice Georgian English sterling silver serving or stuffing spoon. This spoon dates to 1787 and was made by George Burrows. The spoon is done in a simple, traditional form, with a downward turn to the end of the handle. The spoon is sturdy and well made, with a nice feeling of weight in the hand. The handle has a monogram of A in elegant leafy script.

This piece is in great condition. There are no splits, no breaks, no dents, no monogram removals, and no repairs.

This piece is hallmarked on the underside with the lion passant for sterling silver, the leopard's head crowned for the city of London, the date letter m for 1787, King George III's head duty mark, and the maker's mark for George Burrows.

The spoon is about 11 1/8 inches long.

The spoon weighs 105 grams or 3.7 regular ounces.
