17 Antique Hermann Ohme Silesia Porcelain Old Ivory Bread Butter Small Plates
Regular price
$186.00
Presented is a fine quality set of 17 Herman Ohme, Silesia porcelain bread and butter plates or saucers, dating to around the first quarter of the 1900s. This set is made in the Old Ivory line, and features lovely decoration of roses and leaves against a mellow ivory color background. These plates are a little smaller than the average bread and butter plate, but will work nicely for this use or however else you wish to use them. Be advised, three of the plates are a slightly different design, without the interior ring of gilding, though they are in the same pattern otherwise. Please note, we have many additional pieces in this pattern, which you can find by searching “Old Ivory” in our store.
This set is in great overall condition. The gilding is in great shape on most, but some have very minor wear to the gilding around the interior, as you see from plates being stored in a stack. There are no chips, no cracks, no breaks, and no repairs.
The underside of each is signed for Hermann Ohme, Silesia Poland, the pattern name Old Ivory, and 16.
Each plate measures about 5 1/8 inches in diameter. -jm
