Presented is a great set of 13 sterling silver dinner size knives and a matching cake or pie server made by Alvin. Each piece is done in the Prince Eugene pattern which was first produced in 1950. They all have sterling silver handles and stainless steel blades.
The knives and the cake or pie server are marked Stainless on the blades and Sterling Handle on the handles.
The condition is excellent. The handles have some surface wear commensurate with age and light use, but this is minor. There are no dents, no splits, no monograms, no monogram removals, no breaks, and no repairs.
The knives are 9 5/8 inches long. These are largest knives that were made in this pattern.
The cake or pie server is 10 inches long. Weight: 2 lbs 12 oz (1248.4 grams)
