Presented is a wonderful, 14 karat gold and Wedgewood jasperware medallion brooch or pin. The porcelain medallion has a raised image of a lovely young woman in flowing robes holding a wreath, she is done in the Dancing Hours style known of Wedgwood. The medallion is securely prongs set in a lovely gold setting/mounting that is finely textured with a cross hatching pattern.
The gold mounting is marked 14K and the back of the porcelain piece is marked Wedgwood, made in England and 1953.
This piece is in virtually mint condition.
The pin measures 1 1/2 inches wide and weighs 9.6 grams.
