Presented is a fine 14 karat gold pin or brooch in the shape of a trumpet. The buttons on the trumpet really move! This piece dates from the 1920s-1960s; the intricacy and craftsmanship of the articulated buttons suggest early in that time range, but the style of the clasp would suggest later, however on a gold piece the clasp would be very easy to replace seamlessly so it could well be that the trumpet itself is older than the clasp. In any case it's a very cute
and interesting piece, and would make an excellent gift for any trumpet player, musician, or jazz fan.
