Presented is a handsome 13 piece set of German Art Nouveau silver flatware by the well regarded German maker Bruckman & Sohne. The set has a marvelous Jugenstil design cast or stamped on the handles. the tines of the fish forks and the blades of the fish knives Are beautifully engraved with similar Art Nouveau designs. Each piece has a light gold wash on the tines or the blades.
The set includes:
3 fish knives (They could also be used for butter or cheese): 8 inches long
6 dessert forks: 5 5/8 inches long
4 fish/dessert/pastry/salad forks: 6 3/4 inches long
Everything is hallmarked with the crescent moon and crown for German silver, 800 for the silver purity, and a maker’s mark for Bruckman & Sohne. The condition is excellent. There are no dents, no dings, no splits, no monograms, no monogram removals, no breaks, and no repairs.
