13 Antique Whiting Duke of York 1900 Sterling Silver Cocktail/Seafood Forks

Presented is a fine set of 13 antique, sterling silver cocktail, pickle, olive or seafood forks made by Whiting. 12 of the forks are the same style and there is an extra condiment serving fork as well. This set is in the Duke of York pattern, which was patented in 1900 and it is old, original production. The long handles are cast with sinuous flourishes and leaves and the tines are done in a trident form. 10 of the handles have an L initial monogram and 3 handles have never been monogrammed. 

The back of each fork is marked for Whiting, sterling and patent applied for.

This set is in excellent overall condition and the designs are crisp. 

12 of the forks measure 5 7/8 inches and 1 fork measures 6 1/4 inches.
