Presented is a wonderful quality set of 12 porcelain dinner plates made by Wedgwood. The plates are done in a striking pattern with a wide band of colorful fruits and leaves around the rim against a bright yellow background. The center of the plates are done in a vibrant blue. I have never seen this pattern before, but it is fabulous. This pattern appears to be identical to the Covent Garden (Fruit Rim) pattern which was first produced around 1925. The only difference is this has a blue in the center. This pattern was probably made with several different color choices for the center.
The plates are marked on the underside with Wedgwood Made in England.
The condition is excellent. There are no chips, no cracks, no splits, no breaks, and no repairs.
