This pattern displays a hand-painted and hand-gilded floral design. The border of each plates matches the others but the three center flower clusters are unique to each plate. All plates show a wonderful variety of blue, pink, and yellow flowers.
The underside of each plate is marked with the maker's mark for Royal Crown Derby, “Harrow” and a date mark representing 1888. The plates are also marked “Richard Briggs Boston” for the retailer.
The set is in good overall condition. There are a number of surface scratches or knife marks throughout the set and a few places where paint has worn because of being stacked. One plate has a chip, which is identified in the photos.
