Presented is a fabulous set of 12 sterling silver oyster forks made by Reed & Barton. This set is in the La Rocaille pattern, which was patented in 1890. Each handle is highly ornamental, cast with swirl designs, leaves and flowers. Each one is monogrammed with the initials BBD.
The back of each fork is marked with the Reed & Barton hallmark and sterling.
This set is in excellent condition and the designs are crisp. There are no dents, no breaks, no splits, no monogram removals and no repairs.
Each fork measures 6 inches long and the combined weight of the set is 188 grams or 6.6 ounces.
