Presented is a fine set of 12 sterling silver teaspoons made by Tuttle and a matching English sterling silver soup spoon. This set is in the Feather Edge pattern, which was patented in 1938. The teaspoons were made during the 1960s and have the corresponding production date marks. The English soup spoon was made in 1979 by Garrard & Company. Each handle has a wonderful feathered band of design along the rim.

All of the Tuttle teaspoons are marked with the Tuttle hallmark and sterling. Tuttle used the initials of the current president to date their pieces and this set of forks includes date marks for John F. Kennedy 1961-63, Lyndon B. Johnson 1963-69, and Richard M. Nixon 1969-74.

The English soup spoon has a lion passant for sterling silver purity, a date letter E for 1979 and a maker’s mark for Garrard & Company.

This set is in fabulous overall condition with only the most minor surface wear. There are no dents, no breaks, no splits, no monograms, no monogram removals and no repairs.

Each teaspoon measures 5 3/4 inches long, the soup spoon measures 6 3/4 inches long and the combined weight of the set is 512 grams or 18 ounces.
