Presented is an antique set of 12 Irish sterling silver spoons made by William Cummins of Dublin in 1820. This early 19th century set of teaspoons is done in a classic Fiddle pattern. The front of each handle has an engraved crest of a left hand.
The back of each spoon is marked with the crowned harp for Dublin, the Hibernia mark for sterling silver purity, a duty mark of the king's head, a date letter Z for the year 1820 and a maker's mark for William Cummins.
This set is in great overall condition for its age. There is only minor surface wear.
