Presented is a gorgeous set of 12 sterling silver lunch forks from Gorham, although can be used for salad, dessert or may other uses. This set is
in the Imperial Chrysanthemum pattern, which was patented in 1894. The pattern
displays fancy chrysanthemum flowers and scrolls in high relief around an
hourglass cartouche. The front cartouche is monogrammed MKC in a flowing
script.
The reverse of each piece is marked sterling along with the maker's mark for
Gorham. 6 of the forks are also marked with a retailer CE Gifford & Co.
This set is in excellent overall condition. The pattern details are crisp. There are no breaks and no
repairs.
