Presented is a fine set of 12 sterling silver salad or dessert forks made by Gorham. This set is in the Edgemont pattern, which was patented in 1987 and is an exact replica of Gorham’s earlier pattern called Late Georgian, which was patented in 1934. Each handle has a raised edge and a nice fanned flourish at the top.
The back of each fork is marked Gorham and sterling.
This set is in fabulous overall condition. There are no dents, no breaks, no splits, no monograms, no monogram removals and no repairs.
Each fork measures 6 3/8 inches long and the combined weight of the set is 421 grams or 14.8 ounces.
