Presented is a wonderful set of 12 silver filigree demitasse spoons. The spoons have a coffin end handle topped with a delicate filigree flower composed of an intricate design of silver wires. It is quite difficult to find a complete set of 12 of these spoons. They may have been made in America, or they may be Middle Eastern or European. It is difficult to say for certain. Probably about 100 years old.
The spoons are not marked. We have tested them and guarantee them to be at least 800 purity silver or higher.
The condition is excellent. There are a few pieces of silver wire that are loose or missing as you can see in the photos and a few of the spoons have small dings on the bowls, but this is minor. The vast majority of the filigree work is completely intact. There are no dents, no breaks, and no repairs.
The spoons are 5 inches long.
The total weight is 137.9 grams or 4.8 ounces.
