Presented is a fine quality set of 12 large dinner size plates in the Fanfare Japan pattern by Coalport. These are very attractive plates with raised enamel painted decoration. These plates were probably made between 1940 to 1973.
The plates are in excellent condition. There are no chips, no cracks and no repairs. I believe the blue decoration on some plates is slightly faded.
This pattern is identical to Coalport's Pageant pattern, except that the edge of the pageant pattern is smooth and not wavy.
The plates are 10 1/2 inches in diameter. -RS
