12 Antique Tiffany & Co Sterling Silver 5 Serving Spoons 7 Teaspoons Set

Presented is an antique set of 12 sterling silver spoons made by Tiffany & Company. The five tablespoons or serving spoons and seven teaspoons are done in the Tiffany pattern which was first produced in 1869. Each handle is engraved with MB in an elegant script.
The spoons are marked on the reverse with Tiffany & Co., Sterling, Pat. 1869, and the letter M for the director of Tiffany, Edward Moore, who was president of the company from 1873 to 1891.
The spoons are in fair condition overall. The spoons have some surface wear commensurate with age and use, especially on the tips, and three of the tablespoons have some denting on the bowls as we have shown in the photographs. These dents are fairly minor. All the spoons are still perfectly useable. All could benefit from a little attention. There are no splits, no breaks, and no repairs.
The teaspoons are 5 7/8 inches long.
The tablespoons or serving spoons are 8 1/2 inches long.
The weight is 467.4 grams or 16.4 ounces.
