Presented is an antique set of 12 sterling silver demitasse or coffee spoons made by Whiting during the first quarter of the 1900s. This set is in the Dorothy Vernon pattern, which was patented in 1909 and it was made before the patent date. The handles are very decorative and each one has a fancy, script monogram of the initials HHE.
The back of each spoon is marked for Whiting, sterling silver purity and patent applied for.
This set is in great overall condition for its age and the designs are crisp. There are no damages or repairs.
