Presented is a fine quality set of 12 Gorham sterling silver cocktail or seafood forks. These forks are done in the classic King George pattern, which began production in 1894. This is an elegant pattern featuring shell and scroll designs on the front and back of the handles. Each fork has a small monogram of 'AAB' in flowing script on the handle.
These forks are in excellent overall condition. There are no splits, no breaks, no chips, no dents, no cracks, no monogram removals, and no repairs.
Each fork is stamped on the back with the maker's mark for Gorham as well as sterling and a patent date of 1894.
Each fork is about 5 3/4 inches long.
The total weight for the set is 248 grams or 8.8 regular ounces.
