Presented is a great set of 12 sterling silver teaspoons made by Gorham Manufacturing Company. The spoons are done in the Carnation pattern which was first produced in 1894. The entire design on the front of each spoon is completely handed engraved. The backs of the handles are engraved with an H in Gothic script.
The spoons are marked on the reverse with Gorham’s old company hallmarks, Sterling, and A. D. Norton for the retailer.
The condition is excellent. There are no dents, no splits, no breaks, and no repairs.
The spoons are 5 7/8 inches long.
The weight is 251.7 grams or 8.8 ounces.
