Presented is a great set of 12 French silver coffee or tea spoons. These spoons date to the late 1800s or early 1900s. The spoons are done in an elegant design, with foliate decorations on the handles and a gold wash. Each spoon is monogrammed PS in Gothic script, in an oval cartouche on the back of the handle. The oval cartouches on the fronts of the handles have no monograms.


This set is in great condition. There are no splits, no breaks, no dents, no monogram removals, and no repairs.


Each spoon is hallmarked on the bowl with the French Minerva head hallmark for 800 purity. The stems are stamped with a maker's mark that looks like NV, which we unfortunately do not recognize.


Each spoon is about 5 1/2 inches long.


The total weight for the set is 189 grams or 6.7 regular ounces.
