Presented is a fine set of 12 Gorham sterling silver spoons. These spoons are done in the American Aesthetic Movement style, and date to that time period as well. The bowls of the spoons have an elliptical, leaf-like shape with a gold wash. Above the bowls and at the ends of the handles are spiral vine or tendril designs. Use these charming spoons for teaspoons, dessert spoons, or however else you like.
This set is in great condition. The gold wash to the bowls is in great shape. There are no splits, no breaks, no dents, no monograms, no monogram removals, and no repairs.
Each spoon is stamped on the bowl with the maker's mark for Gorham as well as sterling and the number 24.
Each spoon is about 6 1/8 inches long.
This set weighs 166.7 grams or 5.9 regular ounces.
