Presented is a great set of 12 coin silver teaspoons made by Farrington & Hunnewell of Boston, Massachusetts during the mid to late 19th century. These spoons were made between 1850 and 1865. The spoons are done in a classical, round-tip form and each handle has a monogram of the letter K in a sinuous script.
The back of each spoon is marked F&H and pure coin.
This set is in great overall condition. One of the bowls has a dent to the side. The monograms are worn but still visible. There are no other dents, no breaks and no repairs.
Each spoon measures 4 5/8 inches long and the combined weight of the set is 129 grams or 4.5 ounces.
