11 Pretty Royal Worcester Gilt Porcelain Floral Plates 1889

Presented is a fabulous set of 11 Royal Worcester luncheon plates made in the year 1889. These late 19th century plates are in fine porcelain and are hand gilt. They have a ridged edge that resembles the petals of a flower. The gold edging and speckling on the surface of the plate are just wonderful. There is green detail around the scalloped ornamentation in the center.
The plates are marked on the back with the Royal Worcester maker's mark and the numbers RdNo117913 and 1349. The plates have the date letter O under the maker's mark corresponding to the year 1889.
There is some very minor wear to the gilding along the edges. Two of the plates have chips. Both of these plates have two chips along the rim. One chip on each plate is small enough that it could be re-gilt and hidden. The other chips are larger and easier to see. Otherwise, there are no other chips, no cracks, no breaks, no repairs, and no problems of any kind.
The plates are 8 7/8 inches in diameter. Weight: (3404.2 grams)
