11 Coin Silver Spoons By Jones Ball & Poor 1850s

Presented is a nice set of 11 coin silver spoons by Jones, Ball & Poor. Jones, Ball & Poor was a predecessor to Shreve, Crump & Low. They were in business between 1846 and 1853. The spoons are monogrammed on the reverse with an L in Gothic script.
The spoons are marked “Jones, Ball & Poor Patent 1846” on the reverse. Tested and guaranteed to be coin silver.
The condition is excellent. The spoons have some surface wear commensurate with age and light use, but this is very minor. There are no dents, no dings, no splits, no breaks, and no repairs.
The spoons are 5 3/4 inches long.
The weight is 312.0 grams or 10.9 ounces.
