Presented is a wonderful quality, heavy weight set of 11 sterling silver place spoons, dessert spoons, or oval soup spoons made by Gorham Manufacturing Company. The spoons are done in the Marguerite pattern which was first produced in 1901. This elegant Art Nouveau pattern is decorated with high relief flowers and leaves on both sides of the handles. The spoons are monogrammed with HBW.
The spoons are marked on the reverse with Gorham’s old company hallmarks, Sterling, and Pat. 1901.
The condition is excellent. There are no dents, no splits, no breaks, and no repairs.
The spoons are 6 3/4 inches long.
The weight is 377.5 grams or 13.2 ounces.
