Presented is an antique set of 11 sterling silver dessert or cocktail forks made by Gorham during the last quarter of the 19th century. This set is in the Domestic pattern, which was patented in 1881 and it is old, original production. The handles are detailed with raised ivy vines and they have never been monogrammed.
The back of each fork is marked for Gorham, patent 1881 and sterling silver purity.
This set is in excellent overall condition for its age. There is some slight surface wear, but no damages and no repairs.
