Presented is a incredible quality set of 11 Russian cut-to-clear ruby red wine glasses made between the 1850s and 1900. Each ruby glass is cut with a classical diamond pattern and etched with a decorative band of leaf design. Each stem is done in a neat, hexagonal form and the underside is cut with a star design.
This set is in great overall condition considering its age. Two of the glasses have one tiny chip to the rim of their bases. The chips could be ground down. There are no other flaws and no repairs.
Each glass measures 2 3/4 inches in diameter at the top and is 4 3/4 inches tall.
