Presented is a vintage, natural coral beaded necklace with a 14 karat yellow gold clasp made in America around the mid 20th century to the 1970s. The necklace is comprised of 2 strands that are individually knotted with light, ivory or cream hued coral beads that are graduated in size towards the center. The beads measure between 5.6 and 13.3 millimeters in diameter. The plunger style clasp has a 14 karat yellow gold mounting with a florentine or brushed finish and the center is securely set with a 15 mm coral cabochon.
The clasp is marked 14K. Tested and guaranteed to be 14 karat gold purity. The clasp is quite heavy and well made with approximately 7 to 8 grams of 14k gold.
The necklace is in excellent overall condition. The clasp is secure and has a safety latch on one side for added security.
