Superb Reed and Barton Sterling Silver 32pc Francis I Flatware Set Serves 8

Each non-piece is stamped with the Reed & Barton maker's mark as well as sterling. Some of the pieces also have the older Reed & Barton maker's mark and the patent date for the pattern, June 25 1907. Two of the forks, two of the salad forks, and three of the teaspoons have these older marks and patent. The knives are marked Reed & Barton, sterling handle, and Mirrorstele, Reed & Barton's proprietary stainless steel.The set is in great condition. The details of the pattern are nice and crisp. There are no splits, no dents, no breaks, no monogram removals, and no repairs.
The total weight for the set, including the knives, is 1624 grams. The weighable silver weight, so not including the knives due to their stainless blades, is 1078 grams or 38 regular ounces. All of this weight is sterling silver, and there is even more silver weight than that in the set due to the handles of the knives. -jm
