Superb Group Seven Old Newbury Crafters Old Newbury Flatware Spoons Forks
Presented is a wonderful group of seven Old Newbury Crafters sterling silver flatware pieces, made in the classic Old Newbury pattern. This pattern features a tapered, downward turned tip to the ends of the handles and a beautiful hand hammered finish subtly visible throughout. These pieces each have a marriage type monogram for the same family, three that read F * B C and four that read D * C C. The set consists of:
- 2 luncheon forks-- 7 ¼ inches.
- 2 salad/dessert forks-- 6 ¾ inches.
- 2 place/oval soup spoons-- 7 7/8 inches.
- 1 teaspoon-- 6 ½ inches.
Each piece is stamped with the maker's mark for Old Newbury Crafters, as well sterling. Three pieces also have the specific crafter's mark for David S. Morrill, who worked circa 1960-1980.
This set is in excellent condition. There are no splits, no dents, no breaks, no monogram removals, and no repairs.
