Presented is a classy pair of 14 karat gold and mabe pearl earrings. These are modern earrings, probably of American make. Each earring is set with a mabe pearl of about 16.6 millimeters in diameter. The setting is done in an interesting design, the prongs of which are done in a spiral or twist form, almost like tendrils of kelp holding the pearls. The earrings have omega-style clipbacks with posts, for pierced ears.
The earrings are in great condition. The clipbacks have a good strong spring mechanism. There are no breaks and no repairs.
The earrings are stamped 14k and with a maker's mark of 'M' in a diamond shaped punch.
Each earring is about 3/4 of an inch in diameter.
The earrings weigh 14 grams.
