Presented is a Spanish silver tas de vin, tastevin or wine taster. This piece is a 17th century reproduction done in a classic form with a 1632 Hispania coin that has a King Leopold I on one side and a shield on the other side. The body is chased with a band of design and the taster has a decorative handle.
The side of the rim bears the Spanish .915 purity silver mark as well as two other marks.
This piece is in excellent condition.
