Signed Artisan Caroline Strieb 22K & 14K Gold Sterling Silver Watermelon Tourmaline Earrings

Presented is an intriguing pair of vintage sterling silver, 22 karat, and 14
karat gold earrings. These earrings are signed by designer Caroline Strieb and
dated 1983. The earrings are made in a striking modernist style, featuring
naturalistically textured sterling silver and yellow gold with a variety of
textures. The earrings are set with round ruby cabochons and roughly hexagonal
slices of watermelon tourmaline, displaying a stunning range of color from the
exterior green 'rind' to the interior pink. The design is very eye catching and
unique. The earrings have post style backs for wear with pierced ears. The
earring backs are particularly large and high quality, they would be very easy
to put on and quite secure.
