Presented is a charming retro 14 karat yellow gold, enamel and diamond pin. This piece is signed Marti. The pin is made in the form of a chipmunk, sitting upright and holding an acorn. The chipmunk's stripes are appealingly rendered in white and brown enamel, while the acorn is done in lovely translucent amber enamel. The pin has a brushed finish, giving the appearance of fur, for a nice touch of detail. The animal's eye is set with a little diamond, very sparkly. Very cute.
